Level 3 Award in H&S in the workplace
The aims of the course are to provide an understanding of the main concepts of health and safety, to promote the benefits of a health and safety culture and to clarify the roles and responsibilities of individuals and supervisors.

Examination:
The course will be assessed by a two hour multi-choice examination.
All successful candidates will receive the nationally recognised Level 3 Award in Health and Safety in the Workplace qualification.
By the end of the day delegates will:

Understand the importance of supervising Health and Safety in the workplace and the reasons for implementing systems to ensure employees behave responsibly

Understand the importance of their role with regard to preventing, reporting and investigation of accidents

Have an awareness of the legislative requirements and associated guidance for Health and Safety in the workplace

Be able to recognise the reasons for systematic and planned Health and Safety controls

Be able to identify and evaluate workplace and occupational ill health hazards
-
Know and understand the contribution supervisors should make regarding monitoring and improving Health and Safety policies and procedures in the workplace
Duration and fees:
This course lasts 3 days, and costs £425 + VAT per person.
